Biography
Dr. Paul Bornemann joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in October 2014. He also serves as the Associate Director for the Palmetto Health Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Bornemann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. He completed residency at the National Capital Consortium in Washington, DC and served 8 years in the United States Army prior to his appointment at USC. Dr. Bornemann is interested in point-of-care ultrasound training and research, behavioral health in primary care, and clinical decision-making processes.
