Biography
Dr. Christofer Muhr is a Swedish internist with special interest in acute and critical care ultrasound. He is head of the emergency ultrasound programme at Capio S:t Görans Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2008, Dr. Muhr has been administering courses on bedside ultrasound to all interested specialties in Sweden, as well as abroad. He teaches regularly at the AAEM, EUSEM and ICEM conferences, and he is on the board of the ultrasound section of EUSEM (European Society for Emergency Medicine). Dr. Muhr is a co-founder of SonoSweden, a program dedicated to teaching diagnostic ultrasound in Sweden and Europe. He is a co-founder of the FIRST ULTRASOUND FELLOWSHIP in Sweden. He is also a co-founder and organizer of SonoSthlm, the best non-castle ultrasound course there is so far.
Dr. Muhr’s main areas of expertise are cardiac, lung and vascular ultrasound with special interest in shock and focused echo protocols. Dr. Muhr is happy to discuss anything ultrasound, facial hair, kung fu, course organization and more.
