Workshops

WCUME 2017 is proud to offer a great variety of workshops allowing you to fine-tune your existing skills or learn new ones!
The reservation fee for each workshop is $50 CAD and each workshop is limited to 32 participants with the exception of Workshop 9 which is offered on a complimentary basis to the first 32 students who register.

To reserve your place at a workshop: The workshops are available on the registration form. You must be registered to the Congress in order to register for a workshop.

WS-2 – Echocardiography from Beginners to Advanced

WS-8 – Team-Based Learning

Description
In this engaging workshop attendees will experience first hand how team-based learning principles and ultrasound can be used to teach anatomy, physiology and clinical skills.The instructors will lead attendees through small group exercises and hands-on ultrasound workshop training. The cardiovascular system will serve as a model to demonstrate these techniques. Additional organ systems and designs will be discussed which can be tailored to fit different medical school curricula and settings.

WS-9 – Near Peer Teachers
